Tuition

Whether it be solo or corps, bass, tenor or side drum we can provide you or your corps with tuition.  From rudimental, to reading scores, to working with your corps to help achieve success we are available to help. We also have on hand Dougie Martin from our Torphichen and Bathgate drum corps to assist with the bass and tenor work.

We are happy doing one to one lessons either at your home, band practice or if you prefer you can come to us. We charge a flat hourly rate whether it be 1 student or 10 and tuition is at a time and place convenient to you or your band.

Score Writing

More and more drummers, snare, bass and tenor are today reading drum scores as a method of ensuring everyone in the corps is playing exactly as the leading drummer intended the scores to be played.

Reading drum scores is one thing, writing them is something completely different.  There are many drummers who can read proficiently but struggle with the writing and this is where our service comes in.

We will work with a leading drummer and as they play the scores to us, we will write them and you will receive printed copies.  We can help with snare, bass and tenor scores including breaking up tenor scores into drum pitches.

Perhaps you have newer players in your corps who are used to reading and it’s something you’re struggling to put onto paper for them, or perhaps as a corps you would all like to learn together.
